नई दिल्ली : अाज कल हर कोई इंसान इग्लिश बोलने  और लिखने की चाहत रखता हैं। इसके लिए हम बहुत मेहनत भी करते हैं लेकिन फिर भी कई बार हमसे इग्लिश बोलते या लिखते समय अक्सर हमसे ऐसी गलतियां हो जाती हैं जिनकी तरफ हम ध्यान ही नहीं देते। ये गलतियां उस शब्द की सही जानकारी नहीं होने के चलते होती हैं। ऐसे शब्द अकसर कन्फ्यूज कर देते हैं हम आपको ऐसे ही कुछ शब्दों और उनके इस्तेमाल के बारे में बता रहे हैं जो इंग्लिश बोलने और लिखने में इस्तेमाल किए जाते हैं। ये है इन शब्दो में अंतर

Advise, Advice  
Advise- अडवाइज-सलाह देना (क्रिया) 
Advice- अडवाइस-सलाह (संज्ञा) 
उदाहरण: Neha advised me to give pooja an advice on what to wear for the party. 

Weather, Whether 
Weather- वेदर-मौसम 
Whether- वेदर-या, अगर, चाहे 
उदाहरण: Whether you agree to it or not, the weather has become cold. 

Alter, Altar 
Alter- आल्टर-काट-कूट करना, बदलना 
Altar- आल्टर-अग्निहोत्री का स्थान 
उदाहरण: We need to alter the altar. it is very old now. 

Principal, Principle 
Principal- प्रिंसिपल-प्रधान, मुख्य 
Priniciple- प्रिंसिपल-सिद्धांत 
उदाहरण: The principal of that school is a man of principles. 

Bare, Bear 
Bare- बेयर-नंगा 
Bear- बेयर-भालू 
Bear- बेयर-कष्ठ उठाना, भार उठाना 
उदाहरण: The bear was bare. he was bearing the weight of the tree. 

Whole, Hole 
Whole- होल-संपूर्ण, पूरा 
Hole- होल-छेद 
उदाहरण: There were holes in the whole cakes. 

Prey, Pray 
Prey- प्रे-शिकार 
Pray- प्रे-प्रार्थना करना 
उदाहरण: The elephant fell prey to the tiger and got hurt. Everybody was praying for the elephant to get well soon.
